PeopleCoral is built on the conviction that people data deserves the highest standard of care — single-tenant architecture, dedicated environments, no shared infrastructure. We apply the same standard to your data when you visit our website, book a demo, download a resource, or contact us. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have.

1. Who we are

The controller for personal data processed through this website and our marketing activities is:

PeopleCoral operates internationally through local entities in the countries where we serve customers. For the purposes of this website, HR Rebels B.V. acts as the controller on behalf of the PeopleCoral group.

2. What this policy covers — and what it does not

This policy covers visitors to peoplecoral.com, prospective customers, event and webinar registrants, newsletter recipients, and job applicants.

It does not cover employee data processed inside the PeopleCoral platform on behalf of our customers. When your employer uses PeopleCoral for HR and payroll, your employer is the controller of that data and PeopleCoral acts as a processor under a data processing agreement, in a dedicated single-tenant environment. Questions about that data should be directed to your employer's HR department in the first instance.

3. The data we collect

Data you give us

Contact and demo requests — name, business email address, company, role, phone number, and anything you include in your message or booking.
Resource downloads and webinars — name, business email address, company, and role when you download an e-book or register for a webinar.
Job applications — CV, motivation, and contact details you submit when applying for a position.
Correspondence — the content of emails and messages you send us.

Data collected automatically

Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring page, and timestamps, collected through server logs and, where enabled, analytics cookies (see section 8).

We do not collect special categories of personal data through this website, and we ask that you do not send them to us unsolicited.

4. Why we process your data, and on what legal basis

Consistent with our "no spam — ever" commitment: we do not sell personal data, we do not add you to automated sequences after a demo, and we do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing.

5. Who we share data with

We share personal data only with:

PeopleCoral group entities — local PeopleCoral companies involved in serving your country or region.
Service providers acting on our instructions — website hosting and content management, email and calendar scheduling (including Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Bookings for demo appointments), and analytics providers, each bound by data processing agreements.
Authorities — where disclosure is required by law.

6. International transfers

We are headquartered in the European Union and keep data in the EU/EEA wherever possible. Where a service provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on Standard Contractual Clauses, together with supplementary measures where appropriate. You can request a copy of the relevant safeguards via the contact details in section 1.

7. How long we keep your data

Demo requests and sales correspondence — for the duration of our contact and up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless a customer relationship follows.
Resource and webinar registrations — up to 24 months after registration, unless you remain in active contact with us.
Job applications — up to 4 weeks after the end of the application process, or up to 12 months with your consent.
Technical logs — typically no longer than 12 months.

Where law requires longer retention (for example, tax or commercial records), the statutory period applies.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We use functional cookies necessary for the website to work. Non-essential cookies — such as analytics or embedded media — are only placed with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via your browser settings or our cookie banner where shown. We keep our use of tracking technologies deliberately minimal.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR — and equivalent laws in other countries where we operate — you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you;
Correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
Request erasure of your data;
Restrict or object to processing, including direct marketing — objections to marketing are always honoured;
Receive your data in a portable format;
Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@peoplecoral.com. We respond within one month. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) — or with the data protection authority in your own country.

10. Security

We protect personal data with technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit (SSL/TLS), access controls, and the same single-tenant discipline that defines our platform: data is kept separated, minimised, and accessible only to those who need it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services, providers, or legal requirements evolve. The date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be announced on this page.
