HR Tech Europe -RAI visit

This Wednesday and Thursday I visited HR Tech Europe at the RAI Amsterdam, and one thing became very clear:We are still at the very beginning of a major technology shift in HR.What stood out most were two keynotes:Byron Clayton shared how tech-enabled insights and personalised career platforms are fundamentally reshaping retention. Not just keeping people longer, but building a more committed, future-ready workforce.Josh Bersin outlined something even bigger: AI won’t just improve HR, it will reinvent companies, redesign work, and redefine jobs. With Agentic AI, HR is moving toward a completely new operational model.Walking the floor and speaking with leaders across HR and Payroll, one pattern kept repeating: the HR technology landscape is incredibly broad… but also deeply fragmented.Across conversations and sessions, a few structural challenges became very clear:• HR data is spread across multiple systems and repositories• Consistency is hard, real-time insight even harder• International growth increases complexity exponentially• AI is amplifying both the opportunities and the risks around dataBut here’s the tension: you can’t build intelligent, AI-driven organisations on top of fragmented data foundations. That’s where we see the real opportunity. At PeopleCoral, we believe the next phase isn’t about adding more tools. It’s about rethinking the foundation:→ One platform→ One data layer→ HR, Payroll and AI fully integratedGreat to connect with so many people across the ecosystem and exchange perspectives. Thanks to the team behind HR Tech Europe: looking forward to next year. What do you think: are we underestimating how big this shift will be?
